Punk&Glitch

In this series I select universal icons (Elizabeth II, Marilyn Monroe, Sid Vicious and others) revealing their punk nature, rebellious, nonconformist side.Through the glitch, my artistic language, I shatter and recompose their official image, revealing the anarchist spirit that often is hidden behind a myth of success. Each portrait is accompanied by an authentic phrase pronounced by the character, a statement that embodies punk philosophy: the courage to break the rules, to be oneself to the fullest and to claim one’s destiny, because behind every great life there is a punk soul.Success is not homologation, it is the courage to be unique.  Punk&Glitch is the visual manifesto of this truth: inside each of us there is a rebellious soul
